Welcome to the JESS TORGERSEN CUSTOM SILVER Homepage
JESS TORGERSEN CUSTOM SILVER
As you can see there is no catalog. If you see anything on this website that intrigues you, get ahold of me via phone, e-mail, fax, or regular mail (click on Contact Info page). Let me know what you would like made from any of my patterns ( I have lots more to choose from) or send me a picture or drawing of what you have in mind. I like challenges and do custom designing as well.
I work with sterling silver, fine silver, red brass, yellow brass and copper. As of right now I do not have experience working with gold so it is not available from me but I can recommend someone who does beautiful work. I have designed with brands and initials using letters and numbers to make each item more unique, one-of-a-kind, with a customized, added personalized touch. (On the Examples page you can see one of the event findings such as bronc riding on some of the buckles). I also have other findings as well.
I feel that the prices of the bits & spurs I have made previously, were sometimes, too expensive for the working cowboy/ranch hand. The time put into each one can make the cost prohibitive. So I am now carrying Jeremiah Watt Products; snaffle bits & spurs. (see the JWP page) I will be happy to customize these products to fit your needs or wants. I am now a dealer for the E. Garcia line of bits and spurs also. Check back to this website for updates, or just call me!
I would like to hear from you and see if I can pursue any wishes, wants, or ideas; such as belt buckles, buckles, conchos (any shape, style, & size), chicago screws (again any style & size), money clips, scarf slides and some western jewelry, etc. I can make most anything you have in mind.
One thing I will say is that I stand behind my work. If there is ever a problem with a custom order or workmanship I will do my best to make it right. However you want it, you'll get it, "Your Satisfaction is Guaranteed!"
If I do not feel comfortable in making what you order (due to lack of experience or know how) I would be happy to refer you to more experienced and knowledgeable Silversmiths/Bit & Spur Makers. Just the same I would appreciate hearing from you and working on any ideas you have.
Mission Statement:
When my life as a Buckaroo/Cowboy got cut short due to a life altering brain tumor along with surgery and radiation, a few years back, my path was changed to something else that I love, which is Silver (and fine metals) Smithing. My primary goal is to make what you want and make Custom Silver affordable for working people.
